My own sample disc playback looks like this: "sampstream" running in beebjit Amusingly, the sample playback quality on a 1980 chip is obviously not too badly mangled because YouTube content ID recognizes emulator recordings of the commercial songs I chose as demos ??

Introducing beebjit It was not the intention of this side project to produce a working, accurate emulator, but one appears to have popped out. You can play it online here , in a JavaScript BBC Micro emulator called jsbeeb. In a cycle perfect emulation, this needs accounting for. Paging and hardware register access.

In a Slack conversation, Tom Seddon (author of the b2 emulator ) suggested. I also did some reversing work to make the jsbeeb emulator correctly emulate the Hitachi 6845. Help from an unlikely output port It's fortunate I hang out with clever people such as the Bitshifters Collective. using the output of the RGB port??
